What made you want to join MRM Global?
Current scale and growth ambition of the company, paired with the value proposition. Craig’s entrepreneurial character and true belief in the values and product too during interviews.
Describe your career to date prior to joining MRM?
After doing Grad Schemes in Retail and FMCG I worked in various Sales and Strategy roles in two Global FMCG companies. I have managed Wholesalers and Grocery accounts as a NAM, managed the online channel, run Market Strategy and Planning, defining innovation pipelines and pricing an promotion strategies. The last role I had before joining MRM was to run a syndicated field team of 100 split between Grocery and Impulse Channels.
What do you like the most about your job?
It’s possible to make a huge impact, every action you take leads to a tangible impact on the business which is very fulfilling and great for development.
What characteristics do you admire in the team that you work with?
Tenacity and willingness to learn.
What advice would you give to a new employee at MRM Global?
Get stuck in and be proactive. Its important to to be a self-starter and find ways of adding value.
What are your passions outside work?
I love all sorts of sports and spending time outdoors, I have a little cottage in the middle of nowhere in the highlands where I love to spend time with family and friends and embrace the great outdoors.
